sec.42 Appointment and qualifications
The commissioner may, by instrument in writing, appoint a public service employee as an authorised officer. However, the commissioner may appoint a person as an authorised officer only if the commissioner is satisfied the person is qualified for appointment because the person has the necessary expertise or experience.
