[13] Section 4.27 What is a “complying development certificate”?

Omit section 4.27(1).

Insert instead—

(1) A complying development certificate is a certificate that states—

(a) that specified development is complying development, and

(b) that if the development is carried out as specified in the certificate, the development will comply with all of the following—

(i) the development standards applicable to the development,

(ii) other requirements prescribed by the regulations, and

(c) for development involving the erection of a building—the class of the building.

(1A) A complying development certificate must also include the matters required under the Building (Approvals and Practitioners) Act 2026, section 53.
