67 Meaning of “building practitioner”

(1) In this division, building practitioner means—

(a) a person who agrees under a contract or other arrangement to do building work, or

(b) if more than one person agrees to do building work—the person who is the principal contractor for the work.

(2) The regulations may—

(a) prescribe additional persons as building practitioners for this division, and

(b) exclude persons from being building practitioners for this division, and

(c) prescribe circumstances in which a person prescribed as a building practitioner is taken to do building work.
