63 Compliance with Building Code of Australia
(1) A person must take all reasonable steps to ensure building work carried out by the person, including each part of the building work, complies with the Building Code of Australia.
Maximum penalty—
(a) for an individual—300 penalty units, or
(b) otherwise—1,500 penalty units.
(2) A person cannot be convicted under this section and section 69 in relation to the same act or omission.
