18 Applications—building work involving building element

18 Applications—building work involving building element

(1) This section applies to an application for a building approval for building work involving a building element for a prescribed building.

(2) The application must also be accompanied by a regulated design, including the design compliance declaration for the design, for—

(a) the building element, and

(b) other aspects of the building work prescribed by the regulations.

(3) The regulations may prescribe exemptions to this section.
