#### 45 Duties of accreditation authority 45 Duties of accreditation authority > An accreditation scheme must provide for the accreditation authority— > > > (a) to act in the public interest in the exercise of its functions, and > > > (b) to exercise its functions independently, fairly and with honesty and integrity, and > > > (c) to avoid and manage conflicts of interest, and > > > (d) to ensure the accreditation scheme keeps up with changes in industry practice and legal requirements, and > > > (e) to ensure that its staff are appropriately trained and act in accordance with the accreditation scheme.
