#### 82 Surrender of approval 82 Surrender of approval > > (1) An accreditation authority may apply to the Secretary for a cancellation of an approval. > > > (2) An application must— > > > > > (a) be in a form approved by the Secretary, and > > > > > (b) include or be accompanied by any information or evidence required by the Secretary to assess the application. > > > (3) The regulations may provide for a fee to be paid for an application for the cancellation of an approval. > > > (4) The Secretary may require the fee to accompany the application. > > > (5) An approval must not be cancelled by the Secretary under this section until at least 180 days after the application is made.
