#### 53 Regulated work requires accreditation 53 Regulated work requires accreditation > > (1) A person must not carry out regulated work unless the person holds an accreditation that authorises the person to carry out the regulated work or the person is otherwise lawfully authorised to carry out the regulated work. > > > (2) A person must not falsely represent that the person— > > > > > (a) can carry out regulated work, or > > > > > (b) holds an accreditation of a particular class. > > Maximum penalty—1,000 penalty units (in the case of a body corporate) or 300 penalty units (in any other case).
