#### 38 Review of Act 38 Review of Act > > (1) The Minister is to review this Act to determine whether the policy objectives of the Act remain valid and whether the terms of the Act remain appropriate for securing those objectives. > > > (2) The review is to be undertaken as soon as possible after the period of 3 years from the date of assent to this Act. > > > (3) A report on the outcome of the review is to be tabled in each House of Parliament within 3 months after the end of the period of 3 years. > > > (4) A further review of this Act (as amended by the [Building and Construction Industry Security of Payment Amendment Act 2002](/view/html/repealed/current/act-2002-133)) is to be undertaken by the Minister as soon as possible after the period of 12 months from the commencement of Schedule 1\[29\] to that Act. > > > (5) A report on the outcome of the further review is to be tabled in each House of Parliament within 3 months after the end of that period of 12 months. > > **s 38:** Am 2002 No 133, Sch 1 \[49\].
