sec.32 Funds of authority

The funds of the authority consist of— long service leave levy paid to the authority; and amounts borrowed by the authority; and the proceeds from investments by the authority; and any other amounts received by the authority. Funds of the authority are to be applied to making— long service leave payments; and payments in respect of expenses incurred in the administration of this Act; and payments in respect of borrowings by the authority; and investments by the authority; and any other payments authorised by the following Acts— this Act; the Contract Cleaning Industry (Portable Long Service Leave) Act 2005 ; the Community Services Industry (Portable Long Service Leave) Act 2020 . Building and construction industry training levy paid to the authority is not part of the authority’s funds. Work health and safety levy paid to the authority must be paid by the authority to the relevant department for the consolidated fund. In this section— relevant department means the department in which the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 is administered. s 32 amd 1994 No. 65 s 3 sch ; 2005 No. 21 s 155 sch 1 ; 2005 No. 27 s 8 ; 2011 No. 18 s 320 ; 2020 No. 19 s 130 (sec.32-ssec.1) The funds of the authority consist of— long service leave levy paid to the authority; and amounts borrowed by the authority; and the proceeds from investments by the authority; and any other amounts received by the authority. (sec.32-ssec.2) Funds of the authority are to be applied to making— long service leave payments; and payments in respect of expenses incurred in the administration of this Act; and payments in respect of borrowings by the authority; and investments by the authority; and any other payments authorised by the following Acts— this Act; the Contract Cleaning Industry (Portable Long Service Leave) Act 2005 ; the Community Services Industry (Portable Long Service Leave) Act 2020 . (sec.32-ssec.3) Building and construction industry training levy paid to the authority is not part of the authority’s funds. (sec.32-ssec.4) Work health and safety levy paid to the authority must be paid by the authority to the relevant department for the consolidated fund. (sec.32-ssec.5) In this section— relevant department means the department in which the Work Health and Safety Act 2011 is administered.
