sec.31 Use of services of public service employees

With the approval of the Minister, and of the Minister responsible for the department concerned, the authority may utilise the services of any public service employee on such terms as are arranged. The amount of salaries, wages or allowances paid from the departmental accounts of the department under the Financial Accountability Act 2009 , section 69 , to a public service employee who is engaged in the business of the authority under subsection (1) must be recouped to the departmental accounts to the extent that reflects the proportion of the working time of the public service employee spent in the business of the authority. s 31 amd 1994 No. 65 s 3 sch ; 1996 No. 37 s 147 sch 2 ; 1999 No. 29 s 50 sch ; 2009 No. 9 s 136 sch 1 (sec.31-ssec.1) With the approval of the Minister, and of the Minister responsible for the department concerned, the authority may utilise the services of any public service employee on such terms as are arranged.
