Tasmania regulation
These regulations amend the Building Regulations 2016 and took effect on 1 July 2017 (regs 1–3). The instrument does not set out substantive rules itself; it records that the specified amendments have been incorporated into the authorised version of the Principal Regulations (regs 4–5). The changes apply to parties subject to the Building Regulations (for example, builders, owners and certifiers) who will bear any altered compliance duties or costs. Administration and enforcement are the responsibility of the Department of Justice.
