### 313 Evidence of compliant building work > > (1)  Unless evidence is provided to the contrary, building work is taken to comply with this Act if it complies with the relevant performance requirements of the National Construction Code. > > > (2)  Unless evidence is provided to the contrary, building work is taken to comply with the relevant performance requirements of the National Construction Code if – > > > > > > (a) in relation to permit building work – > > > > > > > > > > (i) a building permit is issued in respect of the building work; and > > > > > > > > > > > (ii) a certificate of completion is issued in respect of the building work; and > > > > > > > (b) in relation to notifiable building work, a certificate of completion is issued in respect of the building work.
