### 305 Offences relating to Director of Building Control > A person must not – > > > > (a) wilfully delay, or obstruct, the Director of Building Control in the exercise of his or her powers under this Act; or > > > > > (b) refuse, or fail, to provide any record or document the person is required to produce under this Act; or > > > > > (c) conceal, or attempt to conceal, any record or document the person is required to provide under this Act; or > > > > > (d) refuse, or fail, to explain or to answer a question as required under this Act; or > > > > > (e) give a false or misleading answer, or explanation, to a question required to be answered under this Act. > > Penalty:  Fine not exceeding 500 penalty units.
