### 233 Occupation in contravention of temporary occupancy permit > > (1)  A person must not occupy a building, or temporary structure, in contravention of the temporary occupancy permit in respect of that building or structure. > > > > Penalty:  In the case of – > > > > > > (a) a natural person, a fine not exceeding 100 penalty units, and a further fine not exceeding 2 penalty units for each day during which the offence continues; or > > > > > > > (b) a body corporate, a fine not exceeding 500 penalty units, and a further fine not exceeding 10 penalty units for each day during which the offence continues. > > > (2)  A person must comply with each condition specified on a temporary occupancy permit in respect of a building or temporary structure while the person occupies the building or temporary structure. > > > > Penalty:  In the case of – > > > > > > (a) a natural person, a fine not exceeding 100 penalty units, and a further fine not exceeding 2 penalty units for each day during which the offence continues; or > > > > > > > (b) a body corporate, a fine not exceeding 500 penalty units, and a further fine not exceeding 10 penalty units for each day during which the offence continues.
