### 231 Refusing application for temporary occupancy permit
> > (1) A building surveyor must refuse an application for a temporary occupancy permit under [section 230](#GS230@EN) if satisfied that the building or temporary structure is not suitable for temporary occupation.

> > (2) A building surveyor, by notice in writing within the prescribed period, is to notify an applicant of –
