### 230 Application for temporary occupancy permit > > (1) An owner, or a person authorised in writing by an owner, of an existing building or temporary structure may apply to a building surveyor for a temporary occupancy permit to occupy the building or temporary structure. > > > (2) An application for a temporary occupancy permit under [subsection (1)](#GS230@Gs1@EN) is to – > > > > > > (a) be in an approved form; and > > > > > > > (b) specify the period or periods for which the temporary occupancy permit is to be in force; and > > > > > > > (c) be accompanied by any specified documents and any documents and information the building surveyor requires.
