### 166 Additional application requirements for alternative performance solutions > If an application under [section 165](#GS165@EN) relates to permit plumbing work that involves a proposed performance solution under the National Construction Code, the applicant must include, as part of the application, the following information in addition to the requirements of that section: > > > > (a) a letter from the owner of the premises where the proposed permit plumbing work is to be performed stating that the owner is aware that the proposed work includes a performance solution; > > > > > (b) evidence of the suitability of the proposed performance solution in accordance with Part A2.2 of the Plumbing Code of Australia in Volume 3 of the National Construction Code; > > > > > (c) if the proposed performance solution involves plumbing work on an installation that connects directly or indirectly to a water supply system, a waste-water system, an onsite waste-water management system or a sewerage system, a copy of the written consent, from the owner of the system, to the use of the performance solution.
