### 159 Refusing application for certificate of likely compliance (permit plumbing work) > > (1)  A permit authority is to refuse an application for a certificate of likely compliance (permit plumbing work) if the permit plumbing work specified in the application is not likely to comply with this Act. > > > (2)  If a permit authority refuses an application under this Subdivision, the permit authority is to notify the applicant, in writing, of – > > > > > > (a) the refusal to grant the application for a certificate of likely compliance (permit plumbing work); and > > > > > > > (b) the reasons for the refusal; and > > > > > > > (c) the right of appeal under this Act in respect of the refusal.
