### 133 Refusing application for certificate of likely compliance (permit building work) > > (1)  A building surveyor is to refuse an application for a certificate of likely compliance (permit building work) if the permit building work specified in the application is not likely to comply with this Act. > > > (2)  If a building surveyor refuses an application under this Subdivision, the building surveyor is to notify the applicant and the relevant permit authority, in writing, of – > > > > > > (a) the refusal to grant the application for a certificate of likely compliance (permit building work); and > > > > > > > (b) the reasons for the refusal; and > > > > > > > (c) the right of appeal under this Act in respect of the refusal.
