### 130 Application for certificate of likely compliance (permit building work)
> > (1) An owner of premises where permit building work is proposed to be performed may apply to the building surveyor, engaged in respect of the permit building work, for a certificate of likely compliance (permit building work) in respect of the work.
>
> > (2) An application under [subsection (1)](#GS130@Gs1@EN) is to –
> >
> > > > (a) be in an approved form; and
> > >
> > > > (b) include, or be accompanied by, such information as is specified by the Director of Building Control or the building surveyor.
>
> > (3) An application under [subsection (1)](#GS130@Gs1@EN) may be made in respect of a stage of proposed permit building work.
>
> > (4) After receiving an application under [subsection (1)](#GS130@Gs1@EN) , the building surveyor may require the applicant to –
> >
> > > > (a) provide further information as specified; or
> > >
> > > > (b) amend the application.
>
> > (5) If the applicant fails to comply with a requirement under [subsection (4)](#GS130@Gs4@EN) within the period specified by the building surveyor at the time of making the requirement, the application lapses.
