### 117 Requirements for notifiable demolition work > Notifiable demolition work must be – > > > > (a) designed by a designer; and > > > > > (b) performed in accordance with this Act by a person who holds a licence under the [Occupational Licensing Act 2005](/view/html/inforce/2026-04-12/act-2005-047) , or a person who holds a prescribed qualification, that authorises the person to perform the notifiable demolition work; and > > > > > (c) inspected in accordance with this Act by a building surveyor.
