### 102 Completion of notifiable building work > > (1)  A responsible person for notifiable building work must notify the relevant building surveyor for the work when the work is completed. > > > > Penalty:  Fine not exceeding 100 penalty units. > > > (2)  After receiving notification under [subsection (1)](#GS102@Gs1@EN) , the building surveyor is to specify, to the responsible person for the notifiable building work, when the completed work is to be inspected by the building surveyor. > > > (3)  The responsible person for the notifiable building work must, unless it is unreasonable in the circumstances – > > > > > > (a) ensure that the work is accessible and ready to be inspected at the time specified by the building surveyor; and > > > > > > > (b) be present, or ensure that a qualified representative of the responsible person is present, at the work during the inspection. > > > (4)  A representative under [subsection (3)(b)](#GS102@Gs3@Hpb@EN) is a qualified representative if – > > > > > > (a) he or she is qualified to perform or rectify, without supervision, the notifiable building work that is being inspected; and > > > > > > > (b) the person performing the inspection is satisfied of those qualifications.
