86 Cost of building work for pt 6 (1) For this part, the cost of building work is— (a) if a contract has been entered into for carrying out of the building work—the cost of the work as fixed by the contract; or (b) in any other case— (i) an amount agreed between the construction occupations registrar and the builder; or (ii) if an amount is not agreed—an amount worked out by the registrar. (2) For subsection (1), the cost of building work— (a) includes the cost of any engineering service in relation to the land where the building work is to be carried out; but (b) does not include the cost of the land where the building work is to be carried out.
