59 Service of stop notices and further notices A notice under section 53 or section 58 may be given to— (a) the owner of the parcel of land where the building work mentioned in the notice is being, or is to be, carried out; or (b) the person by whom the building work mentioned in the notice is being, or is to be, carried out or, if the building work is being carried out by a partnership, any partner; or (c) for a stop notice— (i) any person carrying out building work mentioned in the notice; or (ii) if the building work is being carried out by a partnership, any partner; or (d) any 2 or more of the people, jointly, to whom the notice may be given under paragraph (a), (b) or (c).
