38 Automatic end of building commencement notices
(1) A building commencement notice for building work ends if—
(a) for insurable residential building work—the work is no longer
insured; or
(b) the building approval for the work ends.
insured, for building work, means—
(a) the work is insured under a residential building insurance policy;
or
(b) a fidelity certificate is in force for the work by the trustees of a
scheme approved under division 6.4 (Approved fidelity fund
schemes).
