129 Identity cards
(1) The construction occupations registrar must issue a building inspector
with an identity card that states the person is an inspector for this Act,
or stated provisions of this Act, and shows—
(a) a recent photograph of the person; and
(b) the name of the person; and
(c) the date of issue of the card; and
(d) a date of expiry for the card; and
(e) anything else prescribed under the regulations.
(2) A person who ceases to be an inspector must return the person’s
identity card to the construction occupations registrar as soon as
practicable, but no later than 7 days after ceasing to be an inspector.
Maximum penalty: 1 penalty unit.
(3) An offence against subsection (2) is a strict liability offence.
