12 Exempt buildings exempt building means a building prescribed under the regulations. Note 1 Exempt building is used to narrow the application of pt 3, pt 5 and pt 6. Note 2 A regulation may also exempt a building from the application of this Act or a part of the Act (see s 152 (2)).
