112 Approval of appointment of auditor or actuary
(1) The trustees of an approved scheme may, in writing, ask the Minister
to approve—
(a) the appointment of a person as auditor for the scheme; or
(b) the appointment of a person as actuary for the scheme.
(2) The Minister may approve the appointment only if satisfied that the
person meets the eligibility criteria for the appointment prescribed
under the prudential standards.
(3) The Minister must give the trustees notice of the Minister’s decision
to approve or refuse to approve the appointment.
(4) If the Minister refuses to approve an appointment, the notice must
include the reasons for the refusal.
