99Compensation

99 Compensation (1) A relevant person is liable to compensate an owner or occupier of adjoining property for inconvenience, loss or damage suffered by the owner or occupier during the execution of protection works under this Part. (2) An owner or occupier of adjoining property who suffers such inconvenience, loss or damage may apply to the Appeals Board for determination of the question and the amount of compensation payable. (3) The amount of compensation determined by the Appeals Board is a debt due and payable by the relevant person to the owner or occupier, as the case requires, of the adjoining property.
