84 Work not to be carried out until protection requirements met (1) A relevant person required by section 77 to protect an adjoining property must not carry out any building work giving rise to that requirement until the owner of the adjoining property agrees to the protection works being carried out or the matter is determined in accordance with section 81 or 82. (2) A person who carries out protection works must do so in accordance with: (a) the agreement; or (b) the determination of the Director; or (c) the determination of the Appeals Board; as the case requires.
