72C Effect of certificate of substantial compliance A certificate of substantial compliance certifies that the building, or part of the building, to which the certificate applies is suitable for occupation and the building work to which the certificate relates: (a) meets the relevant technical standards; and (b) complies substantially with one or both of the following: (i) the building permit granted for the work; (ii) the requirements of this Act and the Regulations relevant to the work; and (c) complies with any criteria mentioned in section 72B(1)(e).
