6Application

6 Application (1) Subject to subsections (2) and (3), this Act, other than Parts 4 to 13, applies throughout the Territory. (2) The Minister may, by Gazette notice, declare that all or any of the provisions of Parts 4 to 13 apply in and in relation to the parts of the Territory specified in the notice and, on the Minister so declaring, those provisions apply accordingly. (3) The Minister may, by Gazette notice, declare that a provision of the Regulations specified in the notice does not apply in all or a part of the Territory specified in the notice and accordingly, on the Minister so declaring, the provision does not apply in the Territory or that part of the Territory. (4) In the application of this Act to building work in respect of which an approval or permit is required by or under this Act, this Act and the Regulations prevail over all other Acts and instruments of a legislative character.
