48D Owner-builders to hold certificate (1) A person must not commence or continue to carry out prescribed building work on land that the person owns unless: (a) the person is an owner-builder; and (b) the building work is work that the person is permitted to carry out under the owner-builder certificate. subsection (1) if: amount; or (b) the person is a prescribed building contractor and owns the land on which the building work is to be carried out.
