39 Other building certifiers not to be engaged Subject to sections 43, 44 and 45, a person who has engaged a building certifier to perform a function referred to in section 38(1) in relation to a building or building work must not engage another building certifier to perform: (a) the same function; or (b) any other function of a building certifier, in relation to the building or building work, without the consent of the building certifier already engaged.
