34AConduct of audit

34A Conduct of audit (1) The Director may audit a building practitioner's work or conduct or both: (a) whenever the Director considers it appropriate to do so; or (b) as a consequence of a complaint made under Division 2: (i) whether or not the complaint is about the building practitioner or another building practitioner; and (ii) whether or not the complaint is investigated under that Division. (2) The Director must audit a building practitioner's work or conduct or both if directed to do so by the Practitioners Board under section 34U or 34Y(2)(b). (3) The Director may authorise another person to conduct an audit or class of audits on the Director's behalf. (4) The Director must determine the nature of, and the procedure for conducting, an audit or class of audits.
