17 Establishment of Appeals Board (1) There is established by this section a Board to be known as the Building Appeals Board. (2) The Appeals Board consists of the members appointed by the Minister, having experience in the building industry or matters connected with the building industry, as the Minister thinks fit, of whom: (a) one must be appointed to be its Chairperson; and (b) one other must be appointed to be its Deputy Chairperson. (3) Without limiting subsection (2), the Director, a member of the Advisory Committee or a member of the Practitioners Board may be appointed as a member of the Appeals Board.
