164 Additional powers of authorised officer In addition to his or her powers under this Part, an authorised officer may: (a) demand that the owner or occupier of any land, building, place or temporary structure produce any records relating to the building or any building work; and (b) search for, inspect, take extracts from and make copies of such records; and (c) make any inquiry that the authorised officer considers necessary relating to any building work, land, building, place or temporary structure and take samples of materials for the purposes of an inquiry.
