150 Prosecution of offences (1) Proceedings for an offence against this Act must not be commenced without the consent of the Director. (2) A document purporting to be consent for the purposes of subsection (1) and to be signed by the Director is evidence of that consent. (3) A prosecution for an offence against this Act or the Regulations must be commenced within 2 years after the day on which a police officer, the Director or an authorised officer becomes aware of the commission of the alleged offence. (4) For exercising its criminal jurisdiction in relation to an offence against this Act, the Local Court must be constituted by a Local Court Judge.
