Commonwealth legislation
This instrument declares the Mildura/Sunraysia TV1 licence area to be a "declared service-deficient area" under the Broadcasting Services Act 1992 and takes effect the day after it is registered. The declaration is made by the ACMA using the statutory power in subsection 130ZH(1) and relies on the Television Licence Area Plan (Mildura/Sunraysia) 2012 for the licence-area definition. The instrument itself records that status; it does not set out specific remedies, costs or obligations (those are in the Act).
