9 Additional requirements to accumulate 3 points per minute

For the purposes of paragraph (d) of item 1 in the table in subsection 61CY(3) of the Act, the following additional requirements are specified: (a) the news item must relate directly to the local area; and (b) the depiction of people, places or things must predominantly consist of moving images; and (c) when considering the news item as a whole, file footage, if used, must: (i) not be the only kind of footage used; (ii) be visually relevant to the news item; (iii) be recently obtained or provide a different perspective to the news item; and (iv) not be extensively used unless it is directly relevant to the news item.
