sec.53BG Chairperson
The Governor in Council may appoint a director recommended by the Minister to be the chairperson of the board. A person may be appointed as the chairperson at the same time as the person is appointed as a director. The chairperson holds office for the term stated in the person’s instrument of appointment as chairperson. However, the person’s appointment as chairperson ends if the person stops being a director. If a person resigns from the office of chairperson, the person’s appointment as a director ends. s 53BG ins 2024 No. 29 s 20 amd 2024 No. 53 s 14 (sec.53BG-ssec.1) The Governor in Council may appoint a director recommended by the Minister to be the chairperson of the board.
