sec.25A Appointment and term
A nominated director may be appointed under section 25 as the president at the same time as the person is appointed as a director. The president holds office for the term stated in the person’s instrument of appointment as president. However, the person’s appointment as president ends if the person stops being a nominated director holding office under section 17 (1) (a) . If a person resigns from the office of president, the person may continue to be a nominated director for the remaining term of appointment under section 22 . s 25A (prev s 27) amd 2025 No. 14 s 79 (1) – (3) reloc and renum 2025 No. 14 s 79 (4) (sec.25A-ssec.1) A nominated director may be appointed under section 25 as the president at the same time as the person is appointed as a director. (sec.25A-ssec.2) The president holds office for the term stated in the person’s instrument of appointment as president. (sec.25A-ssec.3) However, the person’s appointment as president ends if the person stops being a nominated director holding office under section 17 (1) (a) .
