sec.135 Definitions for division [SM, s 145 ]
In this division— enter , into an engagement or authorisation as a service contractor or letting agent, includes being transferred rights as a service contractor or letting agent under the engagement or authorisation. initial contract date , for an engagement or authorisation of a service contractor or letting agent, means the earlier of— the day the service contractor or letting agent entered into the engagement or authorisation; or if the engagement or authorisation is a replacement or renewal of an engagement or authorisation of the service contractor or letting agent—the day the service contractor or letting agent first entered into any engagement or authorisation that has been continuously replaced or renewed. prescribed period means the period prescribed under section 136 . transfer fee see section 137 (1) . transferor see section 134 .
- (a) the day the service contractor or letting agent entered into the engagement or authorisation; or
- (b) if the engagement or authorisation is a replacement or renewal of an engagement or authorisation of the service contractor or letting agent—the day the service contractor or letting agent first entered into any engagement or authorisation that has been continuously replaced or renewed.
