#### 68 Obstruction of enforcement officer 68 Obstruction of enforcement officer (cf YCS Act, s 25 (6)) > > (1) A person must not, without reasonable excuse— > > > > > (a) hinder or obstruct an enforcement officer in the exercise of a function under this Part, or > > > > > (b) fail to comply with any requirement made by an enforcement officer under this Part. > > > > Maximum penalty— > > > > > (a) in the case of a corporation—100 penalty units, and > > > > > (b) in any other case—50 penalty units. > > > (2) A person is not guilty of an offence against this section unless it is established that, if requested to do so at the material time, the enforcement officer produced for inspection the enforcement officer’s identification card issued under this Subdivision. > > > (3) A person is not guilty of an offence of failing to comply with a requirement made by an enforcement officer under this Part unless the person was warned on that occasion that a failure to comply with the requirement may constitute an offence.
