### 51 Additional services
> > (1) The Registrar may enter into an arrangement for the provision of additional services in connection with the provision of services relating to a registrable event, including, but not limited to –
> >
> > > > (a) the provision of information in the form of a decorative certificate or other document; and
> > >
> > > > (b) the provision of information from records maintained under [section 50](#GS50@EN) relating to the registrable event.

> > > > (a) in respect of a living person, to a person eligible to make an application under [section 44](#GS44@EN) ; or
> > >
> > > > (b) in respect of a deceased person born at least 100 years earlier.
>
> > (2) The Registrar may enter into an arrangement for the provision of information from records maintained under [section 50](#GS50@EN) or the Register, including historical or genealogical information.
>
> > (3) If the Registrar provides a service or an additional service under this section, the Registrar may make a charge for the service determined by the Registrar, in his or her absolute discretion, which does not necessarily bear a relation to the cost of providing the service.
>
> > (4) In providing a service or an additional service, the Registrar must comply with [section 43(3)](#GS43@Gs3@EN) and [section 45](#GS45@EN) .
