(1) [Section 4 Subsection (1) substituted by No. 86 of 2000, Sched. 1, Applied:01 May 2001] Subject to and in accordance with the State Service Act 2000 , the Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages is to be appointed or employed for the purposes of this Act.
(2) The Registrar is responsible, subject to the Minister's control and direction, for the administration of this Act.
