46 Access policies
(1) The registrar-general must maintain a written statement of the
policies on which, and of any conditions subject to which—
(a) access to the register is to be given or denied under section 42;
or
(b) information from the register is to be provided or refused under
section 42 or section 43.
(2) The registrar-general must give a copy of a statement under
subsection (1) to a person who requests it—
(a) in person or by telephone during normal business hours; or
(b) by mail or electronic means.
