32E Particulars of end of civil partnership
(1) This section applies if a civil partnership ends under the Domestic
Relationships Act 1994, section 37I (Ending civil partnership by
parties) or section 37K (Ending civil partnership by court order).

(3) Also, for a civil partnership that ends under the Domestic
Relationships Act 1994, section 37I, the registrar-general must give
each party to the civil partnership written notice that the civil
partnership ends on the date stated in the notice.
(4) For subsection (3), it is sufficient if the registrar-general sends the
notice to the address for each party that is last known to the registrar.

33 When registration to happen
(1) This section has effect subject to section 34.
(2) If a person dies in the ACT, the death is to be registered under this
Act.
(3) If a person dies in an aircraft during a flight to an airport in the ACT,
the death may be registered under this Act.
(4) If—
(a) a person who is domiciled or ordinarily resident in the ACT dies
outside Australia; or
(b) a person dies outside Australia leaving property in the ACT;
the death may be registered under this Act.
(5) The registrar-general is not required to register a death under
subsection (3) or (4) if the death is registered under a corresponding
law.
(6) If a child is stillborn, the child’s death is not to be registered under
this part.
