29C Issue of recognised details certificate
(1) On receipt of an application under section 29A, the registrar-general
(a) issue a recognised details certificate; or
(b) refuse to issue the certificate.
(2) The certificate must not state the applicant’s former sex or former
name (if any) unless the applicant has requested, in writing, that the
information be included.
(3) The registrar-general may, if the registrar-general considers it
appropriate, include in the certificate any other information about the
applicant’s birth that the applicant has requested, in writing, be
included.
